Any employee of an advertising agency or the advertising, marketing or media-buying department of an advertiser who is legal resident of the United States, is 21 years of age or older at the time of entry and who has a valid social security number may enter the contest.

Each eligible contestant may enter as an individual and as a member of a team consisting of two, three or four members. So, you can enter either as an individual, as a member of a team or, if you want to have a hand in managing two fantasy portfolios, as both.

Yes. Only the first 1,000 registered contestants may play. For this limit, each team counts as one contestant.

Visit www.winknightsmoney.com between October 15 and December 15, 2007, click on the REGISTER button and follow the instructions on the registration page. After providing required information (e.g., name, employer's name, e-mail and postal mail addresses) you will be assigned an account number and password.

Each contestant (including teams) will begin with $100,000 of fantasy cash. Beginning November 1, 2007, (or when you register, if later), you can sign on to your account and deploy your cash however you choose in stocks, bonds, mutual funds or cash available for trading. There is a $10 commission for each trade and a limit of 250 trades during the contest period. To encourage diversification, no more than $20,000 may be invested in any security at any given time. Day trading is not allowed; you must hold any position over at least one night.

Lots of ways. Each month, we'll award two $500 prizes for the two portfolios which show the greatest percentage gain that month. That way, even if you're not leading the pack, you could win some of Knight Kiplinger's Money. At the end of the contest, we'll award a bunch of prizes: $10,000 to the individual or team whose fantasy portfolio is worth the most as of April 30, 2008. $5,000 will go to the individual or team with the next highest portfolio balance. And, ten additional prizes - of $1,000 each - will go to the individuals or teams with the next ten highest balances.

That depends on you. It is possible for the same individual and/or team to win monthly prizes as well as the prizes awarded at the end of the contest.
